Some Brief Capri History and Pizza 101

Pizza joints are as old as our country's history. Everyone has a favorite style. Thin crust or thick crust... lots of sauce or no sauce, etc. Capri has always been a consistent and authentic pizza shop. Many new franchise pizza establishments have downgraded the nostalgia of eating pizza in your hometown. They use cheaper ingredients, and they use less of them. These "fly-by-night" franchises are locked in by their corporate bosses to buy foods from their suppliers only. This of course, limits the availability of quality and price control. Let's face it, if you are paying $5 for a large pizza...well, then there is nothing "LARGE" about it! The dough is infused with air, the sauce is watered down, and the cheese is mixed with impurities.

So don't take the fun out of your pizza experience! Stick to your local "Mom and Pop" shops. Each local pizzeria has their own twist on their foods.
